Exceptional 7-piece Italian Tulip dining set by Rudi Bonzanini, dating from the 1960s/70s and inspired by the iconic pedestal designs of Eero Saarinen.
The set consists of a large oval dining table and six matching swivel dining chairs. The sculptural white pedestal bases and moulded chair shells create the characteristic futuristic Space Age aesthetic of the period. Each chair is finished with a contrasting dark upholstered seat cushion.
The impressive oval tabletop features a beautiful white and grey marble-patterned finish, providing an elegant contrast with the clean white pedestal base.
The pieces bear the embossed Rudi Bonzanini maker’s mark, confirming the attribution.
A particularly striking and increasingly hard-to-find complete dining ensemble, ideal for collectors of Italian Mid-Century Modern and Space Age design.
