Pierre Guariche for Meurop “Ministre” Desk

Elegant mid-century executive desk designed by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, Belgium, dating from the 1960s. This large modernist desk is crafted in beautiful rosewood veneer with a striking natural grain, combined with minimalist black metal legs that create the characteristic “floating” drawer blocks.

The desk features a balanced and functional layout with three drawers on the left and two drawers on the right, including a lockable drawer. The spacious central area offers comfortable legroom, making it ideal as an executive desk, home office desk, or design studio workspace.

Pierre Guariche was one of the most influential French designers of the mid-century modern period, known for his clean architectural lines and highly functional furniture. His collaboration with Meurop produced a number of iconic European office pieces.
