Large Venetian Rococo Giltwood Mirror with Etched Glass

An impressive and highly decorative Venetian-style mirror, featuring an elaborately hand-carved giltwood frame with magnificent Rococo scrollwork, floral ornaments and an elegant openwork crest.

The rectangular mirror is surrounded by beautifully etched glass panels, decorated with intricate floral compositions, classical figures and ornamental motifs inspired by traditional Venetian craftsmanship.

Particularly striking are the figurative scenes depicting mythological-inspired characters, accompanied by delicate floral arrangements and scrolling decorations. The individual mirrored sections are connected by small, flower-shaped glass rosettes, adding an extra layer of refinement.

The richly carved giltwood frame displays elaborate C-scrolls, acanthus leaves and sculptural detailing, creating a dramatic silhouette reminiscent of 18th-century Italian Rococo design.

With its generous proportions and exceptional decorative presence, this mirror makes a magnificent statement piece for an entrance hall, living room, bedroom or sophisticated interior.
