René Knapen – Surrealist Graphite Drawing with Gallery Certificate
René Knapen – Surrealist Graphite Drawing with Gallery Certificate
Expressive graphite drawing by René Knapen, featuring a surreal composition of three faces above an inverted figure with outstretched hands. Delicate pencil lines contrast with densely shaded facial features against a warm-toned paper background.
Presented behind glass with a dark mount and an ornate black and gold-toned frame, the work combines an intriguing subject with a striking decorative presence.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Brussels Arts Group – Galerie Claude Jongen / Galerie De Greef, identifying René Knapen as the artist and the medium as graphite pencil. The certificate also references an exhibition at Galerie De Greef in 1975.
