A beautiful and authentic early 20th-century Belgian butcher’s block / workbench, manufactured by Établissements Ver Elst of Brussels, as confirmed by the original brass maker’s plaque. Originally produced for professional butcheries and delicatessens, this substantial workbench combines outstanding craftsmanship with timeless architectural presence.
The thick end-grain beech chopping block sits on an elegant solid wood base featuring two spacious drawers with original brass ring pulls. Decorative carved details, fluted legs, and forged corner reinforcements give the piece a striking balance between functionality and craftsmanship.
