Antique furniture

Antique furniture brings history and craftsmanship into a modern home. At TROC Leuven you find antique cabinets, chests, desks, tables and chairs in oak, mahogany, walnut and marquetry, mostly from the 18th and 19th century. Every piece is checked in our showroom in Herent before it goes on sale.

What you will find

Current pieces include a burr walnut partner's desk, an English marquetry secretary, an oak roll top desk, Louis XV style commodes and armchairs, an oak gateleg dining table, carved oak display cabinets, a mahogany linen press and an embossed leather dome chest. See also Chests of drawers and Display cabinets.

Buying tips

• Patina, small repairs and old marks are part of an antique; we describe them in the listing.
• "Style" in a title (Louis XV style) means a later piece in that style, not an original from the period.
• Keep antique wood away from radiators and direct sun, and wax it once or twice a year.

Why TROC Leuven?

• More than 23 years in curated vintage and antique furniture in Herent near Leuven.
• A showroom with over 10,000 changing items.
• Every piece is checked for stability and condition before it goes on sale.
