Description:
Bring a piece of Belgian art history into your home with this striking oil on canvas by Rik Slabbinck (1914–1991), one of Belgium’s most celebrated post-war painters.
Measuring 100 × 80 cm, this work embodies Slabbinck’s vibrant use of color and refined technique, where composition takes precedence over strict realism. His textured brushwork and luminous palette reflect his evolution from early Flemish Expressionism toward a more modern, abstracted style that made him a leading figure in 20th-century Belgian art.
