Denon DP-67L:
The Denon DP-67L is a direct-drive turntable that was released in Japan in 1982, during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment. Though this turntable does not have a mainstream following outside of Japan, amongst Japan-savvy audiophiles the DP-67L has a phenomenal reputation for its high-quality playback performance, with stable rotation speed by virtue of an AC servo motor (speed deviation <0.002%), very low motor noise (overall SNR >82 dB, DIN-B), and very low wow and flutter (<0.02% JIS). Furthermore, the DP-67L has a very high quality of build and just looks great. The “L” version indicates fully automatic operation, and the up/down movement of the tonearm is controlled exceptionally well by the servo lifter, which will protect both the record and the stylus.
